Appearance: She has shoulder length brown hair with a fringe, and dark brown, usually serious-looking eyes. She is fairly average in height, and has a fairly athletic build but is more on the skinny side.

Personality: She is usually easy going, quick to laugh and hard to offend - she has developed something of a shield when it comes to insults - but is quick to rise up and attack if her friends get threatened. Hence, she is very loyal and protective of her friends. But when she's tired, or stressed, she gets very snappy and irritable - especially if she's studying and she gets disturbed. Beforehand, she used to be somewhat hesitant about breaking rules, always thinking of the consequences and her responsibilities, but with time and outside influences, this has changed and she is much more lenient and willing to bend rules where possible, as she settles in and gets familiar with everyone.

Backstory: She only joined Hogwarts this year, Year Six, being a transfer from a magical school in Australia. Her claim was that her old school didn't provide a course that Hogwarts did, but in reality, it is because she wants to find out more about her father, Euan Montague, who disappeared when she was young, and more about her mother, Jasmine Gamp.

The first people she met on her first train ride to Hogwarts were a bunch of Slytherin pureblood girls (who placed a lot of emphasis on the idea of blood purity, something that Leo wasn't accustomed to), and a Gryffindor, Cecilia Nott, who jumped to Leo's defence when Leo appeared to be out of her depth. Leo was extremely grateful towards Cecilia, and this event influenced her eventual Sorting into Gryffindor.

Also, much to Leo's bewilderment, she was made a Prefect by Dumbledore upon arrival to Hogwarts. Apart from the usual food fights, troublemakers, and people insisting on holding dances, she hasn't had too much of an issue as of yet.
